Presales Specialist

We are now strengthening the team and our capability to support and guide clients to the best possible managed services throughout the sales process. The MSS Presale Specialist will mainly operate and cover the region including Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany but may occasionally engage in other countries outside the region. The role actively supports Account Managers across the region in the end to end sales process specifically targeting MSS opportunities. This role is key to create and drive opportunities with enterprise accounts and prospects with a specific focus on services.   

The Pre-Sales Specialist has a technical background with very strong business and commercial affinities and the focus is on promoting and positioning Orange Cyberdefense solutions and other cybersecurity technologies and/or services through telephone calls, conference calls, on-site visits to potential customers and existing customers.


As a MSS Presales Specialist your responsibilities will include:


  • Work as an MSSpre-sales specialist to support sales teams on enterprise accounts and MSS opportunities to achieve and exceed defined targets. 
  • Understand all Orange Cyberdefense service offerings and stay abreast of changes and enhancements. 
  • Position and promote managed security services to end-customers and prospects within the MSS area.
  • Use a consultative selling approach by understanding and analyzing the customer security posture and identifying matching services and solutions. 
  • Work closely with other key functions such as Operations, Solutions Architects, Service Management and others to ensure close link between customer requirements and our ability to deliver appropriate services and solutions.  
  • Drive bid management on MSS opportunities. 
  • Training Sales teams in MSS Sales.  
  • Support the productive relationships with vendors linked to MSS.  
  • Participate in developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive MSS business growth. 
  • Provide constructive feedback to marketing and operational teams on observed market demand to help drive the service roadmap.  
  • Engage with customers as a trusted advisor, listening and understanding their challenges and requirement - both technical and business.  
  • Present and articulate our value proposition to customers at all levels within the organization both technical and business audience (including C-levels).

As a Pre Sales Specialist your skills and qualifications will include:  

  • Must have at least 5 years of strong hands-on experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Must have experience working in a customer-facing role and comfortable presenting to audiences on both technical and business related topics.  
  • Must have working experience in a MSS or familiar with the operation of a Security Operation Center (SOC).  
  • Broad experience and understanding of industry standards, framework and best practices such as ISO27001 and NIST, etc is highly desirable. 
  • Knowledge of SIEM technologies including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel. 
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and security fundamentals.  
  • Must have working technical knowledge of security technologies (across multiple domains such as Firewall, Network IPS,EDR, Cloud Security etc), information security concepts and familiar with security products and the security market place.   
  • Broad experience and understanding of security trends, threat landscape and framework such as the cyber kill-chain.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Role is based in the Nordic countries but some traveling will be required (10-20%).
